Bradley R. Cope

Bradley Cope is a partner at Cope Gorman Family Law, practicing exclusively in family law. With over a decade of experience, he represents clients in all aspects of family and child protection matters, including asset division, parenting arrangements, and spousal and child support.

Before founding Cope Gorman Family Law, Bradley was a partner at his previous law firm, where he developed broad experience in complex family litigation. He has represented clients before both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia and has acted as counsel in matters involving divorce, relocation, family violence, and Ministry of Children and Family Development involvement.

Bradley has particular expertise in international custody disputes under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction, and a strong record of success in relocation cases, where careful advocacy and sound judgment are essential.

Prepared to mediate or litigate as each case demands, Bradley brings a practical, strategic, and compassionate approach to resolving family disputes. He is committed to helping clients reach durable resolutions through thoughtful negotiation or effective courtroom advocacy.

Bradley holds a Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Guelph.

Mark Gorman

Mark Gorman is a partner at Cope Gorman Family Law, practicing exclusively in family law. Since being called to the bar in 2018, he has represented clients in all aspects of family law matters, including parenting arrangements, child and spousal support, and the division of family property.

Mark began his career with Dyan Davison and Marie Morrison, gaining experience in traditional family law litigation. He later joined Alinea Legal Coaching, where he expanded his practice to include unbundled legal services and coaching to assist clients in resolving disputes independently.

Before founding Cope Gorman Family Law, Mark spent five years as counsel for the Director of the Ministry of Children and Family Development. This experience provided him with deep insight into the intersection of family law and child protection, as well as extensive courtroom and mediation experience.

Drawing on this broad experience, Mark brings a balanced, informed, and strategic approach to each case. He is committed to achieving durable resolutions by helping clients navigate complex and emotionally charged family matters with practical advice and experienced perspective.
